APPLICATION

Used as a plasticizer and insecticide, as well as in the manufacturing of dyes. Used as an intermediate in organic synthesis for the production of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, dyes, and photographic chemicals. It can also be used as an additive in the rubber, textile, plastic, and coating industries. 

Polymeric grade high-purity mercaptoethanol can be used as a modifier for vinyl chloride, acrylonitrile, as well as a polymerization catalyst, crosslinking agent, and curing agent. This product has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and can be used as an additive in blow molded food packaging containers made of acrylic nitrile, styrene, and methyl methacrylate ternary resins. Usage: Used for synthesizing dyes, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, etc.
